General Commercial Vehicle Terms & Conditions

Thank you for choosing Mike Murphy Insurance for a quotation. Please read the following before obtaining a quotation.

No driver has had an insurance proposal declined, cancelled, refused or special terms imposed by an insurer
No driver has a medical condition that would affect their ability to drive
The vehicle will not be used for the carriage of toxic, corrosive, explosive or flammable goods.
The vehicle will not be used in airports
The vehicle will not be used for hire or reward or for the carriage of other peoples goods.
The vehicle has not been modified and there is no rear seating except in the case of purpose built crew cab vehicle.
The vehicle is not left hand drive nor imported.
The person or company that is insuring the vehicle is the registered owner of the vehicle
The proposer should be the legal owner & main user of the vehicle
No driver should have has a proposal declined, cancelled, refused or special terms imposed by an insurer.
No driver shall suffer from any medical condition which may affect their ability to drive
No driver should be involved or employed, either full timer or part time, in any occupation that the broker believed may prevent an insurer from offering standard terms
The vehicle must not be:

  • used to carry corrosive, toxic, explosive or flammable goods
  • used in airports
  • used for hire or reward or the carriage of other peoples goods
  • vehicles with fixed seats in rear other than crew cabs
  • left hand drive / modified
